Mini Bio

Dr. Z. Farooqi has extensive research experience and joined the faculty of the University of Akron in Fall 1999. Currently he is serving as a Professor of Computer Information Systems. Before this he had a dual appointment as an Associate Professor of Computer Information Systems and Electronic Engineering Technology. He has also served as the Interim Director of the Electronic Engineering Technology and the Department was re-accredited by ABET most recently under him.
