Additional Material
1999-2000 Assisted numerous students and faculty member across
the United States and interntionally with numerous and varied projects
by providing my research knowledge and expertise to them.
1999 Assisted a woman in the Philippines looking for parenting
information. In her geographical area it was very difficult to obtain
information dealing with appropriate parenting
of children. After she contacted me through my web page, I was
able to provide her with several parenting lectures, lists of books and
sources, and various parenting pamphlets and
handouts. She was then able to share this information with other
parents in her area.
1998 Assisted an educator working in Czechoslovakia who is teaching
English to young children. He wanted to enable his students to connect
on-line with schoolchildren in the U.S. After meeting him at the
NAEYC conference in Toronto, I was able to provide him
with the names of several schools here in Summit County who had Internet
access and whose students could become pen pals with his students.
