section of shorts. Doors open at 4 pm on Friday, 11 am on Saturday.
NEW!!! April 4th, 2007 - The
Schedule for this years festival is now up. Also, tickets are
available in the Student Union during the week of the festival from
12 pm to 2 pm. Or just buy them at the door. $5 Weekend or $3 for a
day pass. See you there!
January 21, 2007 - We are happy to
announce that the date has been set for the second annual Akron
Independent Film Festival. This year's film festival will be held on
the April the 13th and 14th in the University of Akron Student Union
Theater (Gardner Theater). We are now accepting applications for
short and feature length films. Please send them in.
The festival is sponsored by the University of Akron student
and alumni organization, The 2380 Project.
The Akron Independent Film and
Video festival ran in 2002, 2003 and 2006. This is our second year
sponsered by The 2380 Project. We will again be
showcasing local full length and short movies. If you have any questions please contact
