
A Graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, James Marron has performed concerts throughout the U.S. Germany, and Italy. Co-founder of the Marronprater Dance & Musaic Co., he has composed modern dance music that has been performed at such festivals as "New Steps" at the Ohio Theater, "Food for Thought" at Case Western Reserve University, and "The American College Dance Festival" in Raleigh, North Carolina. His devotion to new music has led to the premiere of over a dozen new works for guitar and frequent seminars on composing and interpretation of new music at festivals and universities throughtout the U. S. and abroad. Mr. Marron is currently on the faculty of the University of Akron, the Cleveland Institutue of Music Preparatory Division, and Western Reserve Academy. He is a BMI affiliate composer.
