  • The Solaris wind Quintet recorded Resanovic's "Drones and Nanorhythms" during the week of Dec 16, 2001 as part of their second CD which the ensemble hopes to release in 2002. Details will be forthcoming.

  • Flutist George Pope and pianist Eric Charnofsky performed the Akron premiere of Resanovic's "Sonata for Flute and Piano" (2001) on Saturday, December 8, 2001 at 3:00pm at the Church of Our Saviour on West Market St, Akron. The recital was sponsored by the N. E. Ohio Flute Association.
  • Flutist George Pope and pianist Eric Charnofsky performed the World premiere of Resanovic's "Sonata for Flute and Piano" (2001) at the Cleveland Music School Settlement in Cleveland, OH on Thursday, December 6, 2001 at 7:00 pm. The recital was sponsored by the Greater Cleveland Flute Society.
  • The Akron Symphony Orchestra under the direction of resident conductor Eric Benjamin performed two movements from Resanovic's "Child's Play" (1997) on four Children's concerts on November 27 and 28, 2001 at the E. J. Thomas perfoming arts hall in Akron, OH. The concerts were sponsored by the Children's Concert Society .

  • Clarinetist Mika Ryhta performed "alt.music.ballistix" at the EuroCASS Classic Concert "Man, Nature,and Technology" in Sibelius Hall, Jarvenpaa, Finland on Sat. August 11.
  • The Serbian Singing Federation of America and Canada published Resanovic's Fifteen "Sastavs" (Serbian Choral Rhapsodies) for mixed a capella choir SATB as a single volume set this August 2001. The individual Sastavs (composed between 1975-2001) have been performed by Serbian singing societies throughout the United States and Canada over the past 26 years.

  • WCLV 104.9 FM Cleveland aired two of Nikola Resanovic's compositions - "Four Points of View" for Violin and Cello, and "Eclipse", a piano sonata - on their Saturday, December 30, 2000 program featuring the music of living Northeast Ohio composers.
  • Clarinetist Hakan Rosengren performed "alt.music.ballistix" in Tel Aviv, Israel on Tuesday December 26, 2000 at the Museum of Art.
  • WCLV 104.9 FM Cleveland featuredthe music of Nikola Resanovic on their Saturday, December 16, 2000 program featuring the music of living Northeast Ohio composers. The four Resanovic works aired included "Crosstalk" (1994) for Sax and Tape; "alt.music.ballistix"(1995)for Clarinet and tape; Quartet for Violin, Viola, Cello, and Piano (1986); Symphony in One Movement (1981). 
  • The Akron Youth Symphony gave a world premiere of Resanovic's Orchestral work "Child's Play" (1997) in the E. J. Thomas performing arts hall on Sunday November 5, 2000 at 3:00pm. Eric Benjamin - Assistant Conductor of the Akron Symphony Orchestra -conducted the orchestra in back to back performances of the work.
  • Clarinetist Joseph Messenger performed "alt.music.ballistix" in the Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall at Iowa State University on Friday Nov 3, 2000. The concert was part of the Lipa Festival of Contemporary Music at Iowa State.
  • The Solaris wind quintet played Resanovic's "The Golden Canon" at Severance Hall in Cleveland, OH on Sunday, October 15, 2000 as part of Severance Hall's "Day Music" festivities.

  • Clarinetist Hakan Rosengren performed "alt.music.ballistix" at California State University in Fullerton, CA on Tuesday March 21, 2000. The concert was reviewed by the Orange County Register.

  • Clarinetist Joan Lluna performed "alt.music.ballistix" in Holland: Apr 19 in Nijmegen; Apr 20th in Den Bosch; Apr 21st in Amsterdam.
  • WCLV 104.9 FM Cleveland aired a performance by the Solaris wind quintet of Resanovic's "The Golden Canon" (1984) on Saturday, Feb 12, 2000 at 8:00pm. The work is on a CD featuring music of American composers performed by Solaris and is soon to be released by Capstone Records.
  • The Bishop Nikolai Resource Center and the Narrow Path Bookstore (Midwestern American Metropolinate of the Serbian Orthodox Church) published Nikola Resanovic's three liturgical volumes this past December: "Hymns of the Paschal and Festal Cycles", "Music of the Divine Liturgy", and "The Music of Great Vespers".
