I learned how to create a form for this assignment, and how to draw and add an image to
the form. The priorities differ for each programming language. In Visual Basic, for
instance, we started out using forms, but never did any Object-Oriented programming.
My inspiration for this Applet probably came from reading my mother's Good
Housekeeping magazines as a child. They used to have adds in the back for military
schools that promised to straighten out your problem child, although the ads phrased this
more diplomatically. These adds usually included a picture of a well-groomed boy, with
unfashionably short hair, in uniform and looking respectful.
