1/18/05 A Long Break

Although there has been nothing updated for a while there has been a lot going on in the Dischord world.  Over my break from school, where I update the site, I went and played with my boys and helped them record a second demo.  I also went to another kick ass FaceMaker show.  They will be playing on February 5th (Marti Gras Party!) at the Voodoo if anyone is interested in seeing them.  Thanks Virus and Cartman!  The mp3's are available from some songs that didn't make the demo as of today at about 7 O'clock in the media section.  The videos will be taken down at this point because of the lack of space to house both the audio and video.  If you check out Dischord on PureVolume and on MySpace, more mp3's will be available that are on there demo.  They have a couple show coming up.  One in Dover and one in Canton in the next couple months.  Come check them out at either show.  The info about the shows is up at MySpace.  I'm to lazy to go get them and copy them at this moment and I don't really have the time so just check them there if interested.  That is all for now.  Check out the Mp3's and tell the band what you think on the message board.  Out.

Damn, been a while since an update.  The band is working on a ton of new material.  Check the message boards for info on new shit or just ask them.  I'd like to put up a link to another bands page here.  www.facemaker.org  I just got a hold of there CD and it is really a piece of work!  Everybody check it out.  They are local to Akron and Kent so get your asses out to see them.  That's all for now.  RIP Dimebag Darrel...  A guitar god has been massacred...  It's a sad sad day for music...

The band is getting a pretty good response from the videos that were put up.  Thanks a lot for everyone's support.  After a few weeks, I may put up some new video clips of different songs.  That's the only update for today.

The video that was up yesterday is now down and clips have been put up in its place.  Give them all a watch.  They are just samples to get people to hear what DISCHORD is all about.  The files are pretty big for dial-up users.  Give them a check in the media section!

11/02/04 - Video is almost here

The video is in the mail and when I get it, I will begin the process of turning it into digital video.  The band has requested that more of the visitors sign the guestbook.  I'll put a link at the top so it is easier to see.  And if any of the fans of DISCHORD are a part of MySpace.com then you should add them as your friend.  I will also put a link up for that.  Well, I'll update soon, hopefully with video and audio sections full.  Thanks for your support!

10/26/04 - Kick ass show!!!

Hey.  I was at the show Saturday and can definitely say WOW!!!  They played really great with only a few bad things thrown in.  Mike couldn't keep his drunk mouth shut between songs and offended a few people.  Other then that, musically the band kicked ass.  They tore it up.  The judges didn't seem as impressed as I was though.  DISCHORD would like to thank the Dover Bomb Shelter for there hospitality and the other bands for showing up and having a good time.  Luke has gotten a video of both shows and told me it will be in the mail to me within the week.  I'll rip it to .mpg and get it up on the site.  Also rip the audio out to mp3s so even dial up will be able to hear how they played.  I'd like to thank Luke, Doji, Mike, and Jordie for the great show.  A few of the members have been on the message board, so go give them a yell.  See you all at the next show!

10/7/04 - Big new to come!

Hey everybody!  There could be some great news for the band up on the site soon.  By request from the band nothing will be put up on the site until the details have been concerned, but it will definitely be something to be excited about.  The set list and lyrics have been modified a bit for the time being.  We've hit about 190 hits now.  Still waiting on the videos from the band.  As soon as I get them, you will have them!  All for now!  Keep supporting your favorite band!!!  On a personal note, I have put some lyrics that I have written in the past few years up on the site.  If anyone wants to check them out click here!  Thanks a lot everyone!

9/30/04 - Bad news...

With the recent departure of guitarist Bobby, the band has decided to postpone there show at Peabody's until a later date.  They will still be playing in Dover on the 23, so anyone that is in that direction, go check them out.  For those of us in Akron and Cleveland, we'll have to wait to see them live.  Going home tomorrow to pick up the vidz shot in Sherrodsville, so tentatively by next Tuesday, we will have the video up on the net.  That is good news at least.  Only small updates today.  Links and the dates page will be updated.  Remember to sign the Guestbook and post in the Forum!  The band would love to hear some feedback!

9/28/04 - Sherrodsville show went good

Hey everybody.  The band says thank you for the great crowd that was at Sherrodsville to see them or any of the other bands.  A video will be put up next week of the show.  They had 10 people recording it so I'm sure we'll have some great footage.  Post in the forum what you thought.  The band will be going through some changes in the near future.  A small line-up change.  They have also got themselves another gig!  On the same day of the battle of the bands at Peabody's in Cleveland, they will then trek there asses over to Dover for another battle.  Come see them at either location.  Info on both shows is in the dates section.  We have almost broken 100 individual hits!  Yeah for DISCHORD!  Keep showing your support!  One last note.  DISCHORD and this website are now on the site www.ohiobandsonline.com  Check the site out if your into any local music.

9/24/04 - Links and Bio go online today

They links page and the influences/bios page will go up today.  The page has had some major cosmetic improvements.  Hope everyone likes it.  Make sure to post on the forum!!!
