Polypropylene

Normal polypropylene has the repeating sequence -CH₂-CH(CH₃)-. It can be prepared with different tacticities. There is also a head-to-head, tail-to-tail variety, prepared by hydrogenation of Polydimethylbutadiene. The following aspects of polypropylene are discussed on other pages.
