The Purpose of our study was to find evidence for the occupation of the Whittlesey Culture

in the Hampton Hills Metro Park area Summit County, Ohio.

Interpretation/Results

Although there were features present, we were unable to find any conclusive evidence that Whittlesey occupation was present at our site.  Given the linear nature of the features discovered, and their location within the historical context of the area, we concluded that the features were the result of more recent historical activity.
