1~Sandy/gravelly some silt, O-horizon very shallow 2~No gravel, some sand more silt, O-horizon shallow all 3~No gravel, mostly silt, little to some sand, O-horizon medium and well mixed into the depth of the sample. |

We chose three places of varying resistance to take soil samples. The highest readings of resistance corresponded with the soil with the most gravel and sand and presumably the best drainage. The lowest readings (highest conductivity) were found in an area with a thicker organic layer and much more silt. It was also the area with the highest elevation. |
