As the Associate Director of Operation at The University of Akron's Student and Recreation Wellness Center or SRWC I have many responsibilities and duties to uphold. That is, the over all supervision of the facility, informal recreation, and informaion systems. From 2006 until now I have also serves as the Interim Co-Director of the SRWC. This position has given me the responsibility to share the overall supervision and management with the Associated Director of Programming during this period of the Director's vacancy. I have also had the privilege to give back to The University of Akron as being a part of the staff in the College of Education where I am a lecturer. I teach courses such as Sport Science and Wellness Education. With my experience, I have also had the honor of writing several articles, presentations and won many awards for my commitment and volunteer work. These achievements can be viewed on the VITA.

I have had experience in Recreation and Wellness since 1967. Furthermore, I have been employed by The University of Akron since 1991. Through those years I have served as Aquatic Manager, Aquatic Director, Operations Manager, Interium CO-Director and Associate Director. With my time, I also volunteer for American Red Cross, Boy Scouts, and USA-Swimming.

In 1978, I received my B.S. in Education with a focus in Physical Education from Cleveland State University. From there, I went on to receive my Master of Science in Education with a focus in Physical Education and Outdoor Education from The University of Akron in 1980. Also, I have acquired multiple certifications throughout the years which can be viewed on the VITA under certifications.
