Kurt Chiang is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Polymer Science, University of Akron. He obtained a B.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering at Pennsylvania State University in 2006. He joined the Puskas group in Fall of 2006.

His research interests include biomimetics, especially understanding the mechanisms of natural rubber biosynthesis by natural living carbocationic polymerization in Hevea brasiliensis.
