I'm a full-time Instructor in the Department of Statistics, and have been teaching since January 2003. I mainly teach introductory statistics classes, which undergraduate students take to meet their general education requirements. In addition to teaching, I provide statistical consulting to students, professors and the campus community through the Center for Statistical Consulting, at the Department of Statistics.

I was a graduate student in the same department from Spring 2001 to Fall 2002, when I graduated with a Master of Science in Statistics. My undergraduate studies are also in Statistics (Bachelor of Science), which I did from one of the premier colleges of India, the Hindu College, under the University of Delhi. I recently graduated with a Master of Science in Management, majoring in Information Systems Management from the University of Akron.
I was born in the city of Jamshedpur, which is the home of the first steel plant, the TISCO in India. It is a very beautiful city, and has been aptly selected for the UN Global Compact Cities Pilot Project. I am an alumnus of the Church School Beldih.
