The Occupational Outlook Handbook is a nationally recognized source of career information. The Handbook, developed by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, presents information on long-term employment prospects in 250 occupations that account for 7 out of 8 jobs in the United States. It also presents information on each occupation describing what workers do on the job, the training and education needed, earnings, and working conditions.
