Here is a picture from the preshow noises I made at the Stan Hywett production of Merry Wives of Windsor. I did the best I could, considering my lack of lute. I made do with my Martin D18S, which a passerby mistook for a classical guitar because of its 12 fret neck and its slotted head. How many dreadnought classical guitars have you seen, especially with a pick guard and metal strings? I also used my mandolin as a lute with thyroid problems. Hey, whatever!
