sunset on the ocean

I went to the Akron Art Museum several years ago and while I enjoyed the exhibits, one of the paintings pissed me off. It was by Mark Rothko and it was essentially a large vertically oriented rectangle with the top half in one color and the bottom in another. That was it. Two blocks of color. Nice colors to be sure, but still just two colors.

The worst was that it was untitled. Untitled? How could I be expected to appreciate this if not even the artist could be bothered to title it?

So, I decided to make my own color block picture - but I would title mine. Here is "Sunset on the Ocean"

I even added my own title card. So, it's official. Enjoy.
