The vampire stake is sitting on my shelf at work. It's sort of a running joke that when my boss runs into trouble with a client he threatens to send me out with the stake to 'take care of things'. Also, there are a few groups that require me to turn my stake into him before I leave the office. The knife was a sort of 'proof of concept' - I had read about glass knives in a book and wanted to make my own. Theoretically, this would be invisble to a metal detector - though I'm not going to try it.
