I was in a meeting with my good friends in Student Life and as I'm known to do, I folded a small origami person out of the paper that always carry. They thought it was pretty cool and offered me some banner paper. So, I finally took them up on the offer and acquired 3 sheets of 3 ft by about 9 ft purple banner paper. Took me about an hour to get the paper taped together and cut down to a 8 ft 8 inch square. Then another 2 hours later I had a giant purple person just over 6 ft tall. I had to have some help with one step since my arms weren't long enough.
Not sure what I'm going to do with him, maybe I'll just move him around the office and hide him in other people's cubes. Oh, and unlike his smaller brethren, the giant purple dude won't stand up on his own. Still pretty cool though.
A little washed out, but better detail. He looks a little mer-dude like, but I can assure you that he's got two legs. |

Closer to the true color. I think I folded the waist wrong, but I'm not sure it's worth the trouble to fix. Maybe I'll try it anyway and see if it's worth a new photo. |
