Two cool shapes, modular origami.

Another modular piece - this one done in transparent report covers. The material was easy to fold for the simple units this needs - but I kept losing the squares before I could fold them. And I needed really strong light to see the edges. And hey, what do you know? It's waterproof origami!

Update: I took the model apart, painted the insides with glass paint, then re-assembled it. The third picture has it back-lit. The pictures don't really do it justice - it really needs to be held to get the full effect.

Cranes,cranes, and more cranes.

2000 3500 to be exact. (I need to update the photo.)

Got this aquarium from Scott - (thanks!).

Yeah, I'm the bomb.

How long did it take me?

I have no idea.

Finally learned how to make a human figure. There's about 19 steps to it, though there's about 20 steps to get ready for the start of it. He's green 'cause I have a lot of green paper. And it ain't easy being green - though he doesn't have a problem standing up - which is surprising and cool.

And below...the army is growing. I wonder - if I leave some paper out over night - will they build more of themselves without me?

The army grows...

A training exercise turns into King of the Hill, with Captain "Lumpy-Headed" Gold emerging as the winner.
