The chaise just wasn't working in my living room, so I decided to modify it into a bench.
The finished product. It's now level on the ground and the cushions make for pretty comfortable seating. When up against a wall, a second set of cushions provide a back rest. |

Yeah, I could have built a back to it. But, I'm just not sure I want to put the time into it. |

So, that's the revised bench. I think my next project is a footstool - or maybe a coffee table.
