08/15/2008 Welcome! We are happy that you have an interest in the Akron BMW Motorcycle Club and visiting our website. Let us introduce ourselves. The membership is as diverse as the number of riders who participate in club activities. Not all members choose to be involved in all events, but everyone enjoys coffee and motorcycle talk. Individual interests range from day rides to rallies (near and far), to extended adventures. There are riders who enjoy company on the road and those who prefer to ride at their own whims/styles. Some of us are wrench turners, others are not. Some find pleasure in restoring and collecting, and some like hacks. Others want to ride ‘m hard and then leave ‘m wet and dirty, and some of us just like to ride easy and in comfort. The bottom line is that we all share enthusiasm for BMW Motorrad and never “tyre” of talking about them. Sunday morning is “our time” to get together for a casual breakfast and plenty of conversation. It is simply amazing the amount of knowledge available from our riders just waiting to be shared. Should this description sound like a club atmosphere you would enjoy, please visit with us ANY Sunday morning around 8:00 o’clock at Farmer Boy Restaurant on SR 91 about 200 yards south of SR 224 (west side of the road) (41 01.784’ N, 081 25.564 W) in Springfield Township, Ohio. Arrive by 2 wheels, 4 or more – we do! We look forward to meeting you!!! |
